Fabric and nails
250 cm in diameter

The artwork Intifada which means uprising is composed of ninety-nine small bundles hung with nails on a red brick wall. The installation is circular; the bundles are placed so as to be very close to one another in the space that would correspond to the circle’s center, and gradually further apart as the circle extends outward. This placement is a way for the artist to evoke the return to one’s country, the center of the installation considered like one’s place of origin, one’s goal.
