The eighth version of the Ghorfa was presented in the form of a video produced during the artist’s residency at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence. For the first time, the ghorfa is seen from above so that only its roof its visible. The trace of a performance, the video shows a form made of craft paper and entirely covered with scotch tape that reflects the light. Shaking lightly and inflating from the inside, the form seems alive and resembles a ball of crumpled paper. The structure of the ghorfa, here made exclusively with materials found on site, gradually appears.
